Childminding charges for the year commencing September 2024　

Daily session from 7.45am – 5.45pm Tuesdays to Thursdays only £60 per day

Term time only rate (39 weeks per year)        £65 per day

Before school　                                       N/A

After school              £20 per session    

Term time only rate   £25 per session          

Occasional minding,(Out of contract)       £7.50 per hour

These fees include, drinks, snacks, lunch and tea but not breakfast. 

Please note that these charges may be flexible, depending on our circumstances. Please email us your requirements and we can let you know our best price.　

If your child is aged 3 or 4 we are able to offer the free entitlement from the term following your child's third birthday. This means that they can have up to 30 hours per week during term time reduced from their existing hours. Our setting can provide this, but we will not be able to offer this entitlement without some paid childcare. 　　

Please be aware that we open at 7.45am, not a minute before then. We close at 5.45pm, and not after. If you arrive early please wait away from the house and try to keep noise levels low, so we can be respectful to our neighbours. Please make sure you have left the setting before 6.00pm.  If you and your children are present outside of contract hours there may be a £10.00 charge even if it is for only five minutes. With this in mind it would be prudent to arrive a few minutes earlier so there is time to talk and exchange information. This is worth bearing in mind when arranging contract hours.

If you wish to reserve a place with us, we will require a deposit to cover the first four weeks, which is non refundable.

Please note that you are paying for the place which means that we would expect to be paid when your child is absent from our care, for example during sickness, when you are on holiday or if attending a playgroup or nursery setting. This includes Bank Holidays as well as the Christmas break; which includes Christmas Eve and the period until the New Year. We would also like to be paid in full for two weeks holiday for ourselves, but would not expect you to pay us for any other extra days. We have incorporated these terms into our contract rather than charge higher rates. This enables us to make our childcare fees much more affordable.

You can pay by cash, bank transfer or tax free childcare on the first day of the week your childcare commences. Bank transfers and tax free childcare will only be accepted as long as the fees reach our account on the correct day, so please allow time for this to happen. Should you wish to terminate your contract with us or reduce your child's hours we will require 4 weeks' notice in writing.

If you need us to look after your school children on a school training day, or for any extra hours, such as picking up early from school, please give us as much notice as possible. This can be very disruptive to the routine and other children in our setting and we may need to get extra help. Any extra hours are payable as ‘occasional’ minding charges, which are listed above.
